Hi! I'm new to the list. Do any of you have any info on a Jemima Pyle m. to Richard Lemaster (Son of Issac Lemaster and Nancy Ann Scott) of Berkeley Co., (W)VA. Richard was b. aft 1773. I don't know anything about Jemima. The reason that I'm interested in her is that my mom and dad both have Lemaster lines, from the looks of it. If I can prove the parents of my great-grandfather, I've got my dad's traced back to Abraham, the first Lemaster to come to America from the Channel Islands. But mom has me stuck. She descends from a Richard and Rebecca Lemaster. I can't prove who Richard's parents are. The most likely, according to some, are Issac and Nancy Lemaster. But, their Richard is married to Jemima. If I could find out when she died, maybe I could determine if he married again. I've tried contacting Berkeley Co. and one of the local genealogists, but they weren't aware of any records.
