Can anyone help me find the parents & the birthplace of Jane Ruth TOMPKINS, b 13 Oct. 1815 VA. She married David GILBERT 10 May 1834 in Middletown, MD where both gave their address as Harper's Ferry. David worked at the Arsenal & 8 of their 10 children were born prior to their moving to MO in 1853. They are found in the 1850 Census, 28th District of Jefferson Co., VA.
