I was wondering if the source documents are listed alphabetically, or perhaps census style? In other words, is it possible to glean groups of ppl who were neighbors living in a specific part of old Frederick? I wonder too, did the clerk travel to each household? Or did commissioners, assigned by the court, visit each person responsible for the fees in question? Or did the ppl present themselves to the clerk? Is it possible to answer these questions (to any degree) from viewing the source document? Thanks again Dr. Kerns, you've done this list a GREAT service!!!!
