It is generally believed among Worthington researchers that his wife was Ann McCracken, daughter of James McCracken. Robert D. and Ann moved to Westmoreland Co., PA, and died there. Their son Samuel (1745-1821) is my husband's direct line ancestor who didn't go to PA but went direct to Tennessee, being one of the first settlers of Anderson County. Samuel traveled part of the way at least with his father-in-law Thomas Carney. For what it's worth on a distaff side of McCracken. Ann Hewitt Worthington
