Katie, Thanks for your reply and there is no rush for you to reply again. I am corrently in Louisville, KY, but am out of town for the next couple of weeks. Are you in Lousville? Do you have any info on the children of Thomas and Eleanor Hook? Does my Nancy Hook appear as a daughter in this line? Do you know of any good sources or pictures for this family. If my sources are correct, Thomas and Eleanor moved to Lafyette Co., MO and are buried there. I was also contacted by another lister who claims descendency from Jane Hook, daughter of Thomas and Eleanor, but her history suggests that she is not aware of Jane having siblings. If our histories match I will forward info on to her as well. My history suggests that Nancy Hook was married to my ggg-father Richard J, Robinson. I have this from a jpeg of a page from a book: History of Noble County, Ohio. I can forward this to you if you would like to see it. Richard J. Robinson and children appear to have moved to Noble Co. in 1854. I am very curious, though , that Nancy does not appear in the the census record in this household for 1860 or 1870. She does not appear in these records until 1880. I believe Nancy is the mother of my gg-father, John W. Robinson. Would also like to know if she is the mother to other children of Richard J. Richard J. died in 1886, I think in Sarahsville, Noble Co., Ohio. No info on Nancy's death, but she was living with Richard in 1880 census. I would like to locate the cemetery where they are buried; also any history of there daughters: Theopolis, Frances, Margaret, and Ellen. I think John W. was there only son and I have a pretty good history of him and this line. I think I have info on Thomas Hook's line, or maybe it is Eleanor McVicker. One of these lines is traced back to Scotland through a McKee line. I'll double check this. Please get back to me when you have a chance and well exchange info.
