He was buried in the front yard of his home, along with some family members and slaves. There is supposed to be a military stone marking his graves. No other stones with names are supposed to be there. Later a cemetery was established about 1/2 half mile up the hill from the house. The first one that was buried in this was a son named William, who was killed in Cynthiana when Morgan made a raid through there in 1862. I have been to this cemetery, but have not been able as of yet to find the house or stone for Francis. Francis is my ggggrandfather. Hope this helps some. Nancy Bray
