    3. Farmer, Does your Francis Robinson have a brother John Robinson by any chance? I am descended from the Robinson line of John Thomas Robinson, b. VA abt. 1779, John T.'s father was also a John Robinson, b. 1738. His father was William Robinson, b. Middlesex Co., VA 1709. John Robinson married a Lucy Smith. Possibly a sister to your Agnes Smith. Look like a strong possibility that our Robinson line could be related. This may tie our Robinson lines to other postings I have seen lately for KY Robinson. By the way, my Robinson line eventually settled in Louisville, KY and I have recently relocated here. Thanks, Chris Please refer to exerpt below: There is a book titled "This Robinson Line" by Viola Robinson Long. On page 47 of this book indicates that there was a William Robinson born in Middlesex Co., VA in March 1709 , who married Agatha Beverly and had 9 children. The following is quoted directly from this book: "Issue of William and Agatha Beverly Robinson: 8.1 John b. 1738, eldest son, M. 1st a Miss Page;m. 2nd (mg. bond dated 24 Nov 1757) to Lucy Smith had two sons who went to Tennessee ca 1800. A third son John Thomas m. Elizabeth Emerson and had issue: Beverly W., Arthur, Samuel, William, Richard, John, and Joseph Lewis. The latter was the father of Mr. P. M. Robinson, Vice Pres. of Union National Bank of Clarksburg, West Virginia :" >From: "Robinson" <robinson@svs.net> >To: ROBINSON-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: [ROBINSON] Francis Robinson b. 1765 son of William Robinson & >Agnes Smith- VA >Date: Sun, 20 Jul 2003 21:32:17 -0500 > > This Francis Robinson married "Polly Terrill and went to Kentucky.
