Thanks to all who replied to my request for the book: This Robinson Line. Several lister have asked that I share info on where to get this book, so I am post this to the list for all. Many listers suggested InterLibrary Loan, which I have used in the past for other titles and will try again. A couple also suggested the following individual: "Helen Nichols Murphy" <hewick@gvtech.net> I have contacted Helen in the past and sent her two emails this past week, but have not received a response. Just wanted to check that I still have the correct email. I guess she could be away or just behind with email but would appreciate any suggestions. I am also attaching two other suggestions that my help others with this book and also other Robinson info. Please check these out: If you go to www.google.com type in This Robinson Line 1468-1938 and look for this listing under Helen Battelson it tells you how to contact her for this book. (The above brings up about four sites with Robinson info.) Also got this: A google.com search turned up this other publication, which contains a copy of the book in question. (If you can't find a copy of the original, maybe this one will do, if you can find it.) The Robinson Line from colonial Virginia to Mercury, McCulloch County, Texas. Kirby, Jack H. Self published (1992) Includes copy of "This Robinson line" / E. Viola Robinson Long. ----------------- Also, there are two very old postings (1996, 1998), in the archives of the ROBINSON-L rootsweb surname list, regarding copies of this book for sale.
