Tommy, are you familiar with Nimrod Ashby (I guess born around 1720??)? What sort of relationship, if you know, did he have with the Brown family of Frederick (and Farquier) Co Va? Did his family migrate from old Frederick down into Farquier? (I found an estate settlement of his in Farquier). My Hampshire Co Va (now WV) Browns appear to belong to the Frederick Co ones but I also find Browns in Farquier related to known allied families (Bryan/Van Hoose/ Rector) of my Hampshire Co ones.
