I very much appreciate the information. I am just starting to gather information regarding the Lewis family of Fredericksburg. My gggggrandfather was Fielding Lewis and my gggrandfather was William H. Lewis. I do not know which of Fielding's sons was my ggggrandfather. The boys names were Augustin,Warner,George, Charles, Sam, Lawrence, Robert, and Howell. I suppose that there would be information of that kind in that house he owned in Fredericksburg that was called Kenmore after he no longer owned it. It is now some kind of a museum.
