(The Teener/Tener relatinship is the mother of my gg-mother Olive B. Dilley. Her mother Rebecca Teener?, b. OH abt. 1828? married James Dilly of VA. I would appreciate any info on this line if any recognizes it.) Thanks for replying to my posting. I just recently acquired some exciting info on John W. Robinson. He was born around WINCHESTER, VA, Jan. 28, 1843, to Richard J Robinson, b. 1812? and Rebecca Hook? he moved to Sarahsville, Noble Co. Ohio in 1854. I do not know if his mother made this journey, or if she had passed away. The family appears in the 1860 census for Sarahsville, Center twp, Noble Co., Ohio p 159: family no 1213 1172 RJ Robinson46 millright 0 realestate $100 personal property born VA Theopolis 21 female domestic born VA John 19 student born VA Francis 13 female born OH margaret 11 born OH? ellen 3 born OH Again in the 1870 Census Sarahsville, Center twp, Noble Co., Ohio: Noble Co., Ohio, Sarasville/Center township, pg 66 John Robinson, 27, b. Robinson also appears in the book The History of Noble County, and I am in the process of obtaining a copy of this from the library. He is reported to have served in Company E, 88th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. Also may have had an uncle, JOSEPH L. ROBINSON in Middleburg?, Ohio. I am very excited to have these new revelations and would appreciate any additional info you can provide. I would like to follow the line back further (to Scotland? or England? if possible) or obtain other details. Also get in touch with any decendents, no matter how distant! I have other info including the Dilley line that I would be happy to share. Please get in touch. Thanks, Chris _________________________________________________________________ Tired of spam?
