The posting regarding how to get in touch with Wilmer Kerns prompts my question. I am working on a family history and would like to include an adaptation of one of the maps in Cecil O'Dell's 'Pioneers of Old Frederick County, Virginia.' I wrote about 6 months ago to the publisher, stating my desire to contact him and that I wished permission to use some of his material. I have never heard anything from them or from him (I had hoped they would pass my letter on to him). I did include a SASE like all good genealogists should. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding obtaining this permission or on contacting him? Thanks for any help, Ellen [email protected]
