There's a book by Penny & O.D. Linder, "The Dever & Related Families," 1998, McClain Printing Co., Parsons, WV 26287 that gives great detail about the WV DEVER/DEAVER line. The Linders live there now & have traced their line back from WV to MD, ca 1650. I have read that Penny served many years as Pres. of the WV Genealogical Society.
