Note: Harrold, Beal and Brown are related in Nottingham, PA . These men listed above I have listed to you all in letters recently. Deed Chester CO PA- 29 Apr 1757- Thomas & Rachel Brown to John Allen both of West Nottingham. Whereas Richard Harrald was permitted by commisioners of William Penn to settle on & improve 500 acres in West Nottingham, whereas Richard absenting himself from his abode , ordered his wife MARY to make sale of said land and Mary Harrald by deed dated 26 Jan 1726 granted David GALE who by his deed 19 Aug 1726 granted same to WILLIAM BROWN late of sd. twp, William & Susannah Brown 21 Mar 1748 granted a certain part of tract to Thomas Brown then of CECIL CO MD , Thomas Branan by deed dated 4 Aug 1752 granted sd. part of land to James & Jane Allen 30 Apr 1753. Note: these Browns and Mary Beal Harrold are cousins thru- the Clayton family. The Nottingham MMs index has 5 pages of Browns listed a very big family by 1750 because of 2 brothers James and William Browne/Brown having many sons. I have a lot wifes for many of these men thanks to Gilbert Cope and my Quaker records.
