I have not found Eddy listed in Quaker records yet and only found in Gilbert Cope's Chester CO PA book that a Josph & William EDDY are listed on the 1753 Vincent twp, Chester CO PA tax list. Note: the are many 1753 Chester CO PA twp tax lists in gilbert Cope's book and these 1753 tax list about 100 men each listed.
