    1. Evans, Ritter, Hite, Heath, Henry, Bell Etc.
    2. DRKessinger
    3. Chocy, David, and Listers, A couple of interesting things. I've been exploring some Henry's that were in the Union Co., IL area around 1820 - 1840ish, i.e., a Moses, William, Aaron, etc. (sound just a little familiar to the Henry names in Shenandoah?). Anyway, I'm finding that some of them seem to have been in KY just prior to their move to IL even though the older ones list their place of birth as VA. One of these Henry's was named Evan Henry. Never knew where that one came from but in light of the recent discussion thought I would mention it. I also want to mention that here in Ohio close to the stagecoach stop of Stephen Ritter and John Bell live many many Evans, as Chocy has pointed out, and several parks, athletic centers, schools, etc. were either subsidized by or given as gifts to the neighborhoods from the Evans families (Mostly from the Thomas J. Evans Family). Also, the Hite's and Heath's (local businessmen, attorneys, etc.) are in this same area. Every year at Christmas, it is a tradition for our family to go to the Hite Christmas party in Utica, OH but I never put it together with the Hite's from VA - must have been a mental block. To me they are just very close families and neighbors we grew up with. -----Original Message----- From: Chocybrown@aol.com [mailto:Chocybrown@aol.com] Sent: Tuesday, March 07, 2006 11:58 AM To: OLD-FREDERICK-CO-VA-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [OLD-FREDERICK-CO-VA] Quaker Records-EVANS/MENDENHALL/BEESON/CAMPBELL Continue on the EVANS Quaker track.
