Robert McCoy from Freehold , Monmouth, NJ bought land from Stephen Hollingsworth in Cecil CO MD on 18 July 1723 per my Deed books in Cecil CO MD 1673-1753. The DE Hollingsworths, Martin Cartmill , Emanuel Grubb family are listed in Cecil CO MD deeds and he is a brother of Charity Grubb Beeson are listed. Frederick CO VA deed 1743-1758 page 41 11 Feb 1747/48 Emanuel Grubb of BRANDYWINE HUNDRED CO. of New Castle on Delaware prov. of PA- not yet DE , to Benjamin Grubb of county of Frederick and Colony of Virginia 250 acres, north side of Shenando River , the said land being granted by patent unto Jost HITE and said land from Jost Hite to Emanuel Grubb of New Castle CO and land of John Grubb . wit: John Fernwood , Richard Pearis, Adam CUNNINGHAM, Joshua Haines -he has wife Marcy in the serviving Hopewell MMs and is from Burlington, NJ. The Stovers and Philip Crume are on the 1785 Shenandoah CO VA tax lists along with James McKay SR/ brother of Moses and Zachariah McCoy . Zachariah McKoy is on the 1783 Shenandoah CO VA tax list. There is still alot of research to do and this is going to take months to make connections for all of us. David
