Beard , pub. 2001 by Willow Bend Books , Westminster, MD . 1) Abrill- Richard & Sarah pg 128- this should be the Richard Abrill listed in the Frederick CO VA deeds 1757-1763 along with Jon Abrill. 2) Ballinger- pgs- 122 and 126- Josiah, Henry he died in Rowan CO NC , Mary Wright Ballinger, Hannah Wright Ballinger- their father James Wright has a Frederick CO VA will and so does Josiah Ballinger- they are from Burlington, CO NJ. 3) Barrett- to many pages to list- Arthur Barrett the father has a Frederick CO VA will. 4) Bob/BABB- Thomas pg 126- has a Frederick CO VA will wife Sarah Foulke dau. of Elizabeth Cope dau. of Olver Cope 1696/97 New Castle CO DE tax list. 5) Beals - Jacob and family 120,122,123- found on the 1740s Frederick CO VA deeds- related to Harrold- Note: found this - there are Harrell's in Frederick CO VA Moses Harrell and William Herrell who marr. Hannah CHESTER dau. of Thomas Charter & Sarah Cartmill dau. of Nathaniel Cartmill listed 1696/97 New Castle CO DE tax list with Oliver Cope. FYI- 1787 Nelson CO KY tax list- ( was Jefferson CO in 1785 ) Moses Harrold and taxed with him are- Noah, Moses JR, James and Richard Harrald. next- William Harrald , James and CHESTER Harrald - this looks like the family of William Herrell & Hannah Chester. next- James Herrald. back to Nottingham- 6) Beeson - Richard & Charity Grubb Beeson are listed here , 120,121,124, 125,130- thye have Frederick CO VA deeds 1740s- 7) Bowen- Benjamin, John Samuel, William and others- appear to be related to Henry Bowen has Frederick CO VA will with BABB on it. 8) Brown- they own this Quaker meeting house because there are 5 full pages for these Browns and many went to Frederick CO VA as late as 1780s Hopewell records. 9) Bryan- Joseph pg 122 he appears to be related to Morgan Bryan because he is listed at Josiah Ballinger's house 1731 MD at this wedding- George Mathews , son of Oliver of Chester CO PA and Elizabeth WRIGHT dau. of James Wright, near Potomack, Prov. of Maryland marr. 3.4.1731 at the house of Josiah Ballinger at Monogusie, Prv. of MD. Josiah Ballinger is George Mathew's bro-in-law. Thomas Mills & Elizabeth HARROLD are at this wedding and at their wedding 1730 here we have Morgan ,Martha and Elinor Bryan listed. John Cope is a son of John Cope & Charity Jefferis and this John Cope is a son of Oliver COPE 16.96/97 New Castle CO DE tax list. Margaret Brown Cope is the dau. of Jacob Brown b) 15.7.1724 son of William Brown b) 21.9.1689 1 st wife Elizabeth Cowgill marr. 30.7.1715 Duck Creek MM Kent CO DE, and 2nd wife Margaret Davis 15.3.1720/21 Nottingham MM. Margaret Cope's grd-pars- are William Brown & Margaret Davis and this William Brown is a brother of Messer BROWN 1st wife Jane Richards and 2nd wife Dinah Churchman dau. of imigrant John & Hannah Churchman. William Brown the immigrant father of Messer and William was marr. 4 times , Dorothy, Ann Mercer- note: on the 1715 Thornbury, Chester CO PA Thomas Mecer will is a dau. listed as ANN.3- Catherine Williams and 4 Mary Methews- per Gilbert Cope in 1881 bk. Messer & William Brown have brother Richard Brown who marr. Rachel Beeson 9.2.1731 Nottingham MM. Rachel is a dau. of Edward Beeson who may be Richard Beeson's brother . Messer Brown and Jane have dau. Ann marr. Richard Beeson 15.10.1730 Nottingham MM he son of Richard & Charity Grubb Beeson- Charity Grubb's father is on the 1696/97 New Castle CO DE tax list with Oliver Cope. Messer & Jane have dau. Hannah marr. Arthur BARRETT JR 17.10.1734 Nottingham- his father Aurthur Barrett Sr has a Frederick CO VA will and the Barrets as are many other Quakers are found in the Frederick CO VA deed books late 1780s. Note: all of the David Cope & Margaret Brown dec.s are cousins to all of the desc.s of immigrant William Brown and his 4 wifes. The Hopewell Quaker records show these Quaker Browns there 1770s , 2 Daniel Browns' , David Brown families.
