Patience JOB 27.1.1735 Nottingham, PA MM ( Patience Job dau. of Andrew Job , - this family is in the Frederick CO VA Hopewell MMs and stayed in this area - There son Andrew McCoy marr. Jane Ridgeway 11.27.1760 Hopewell MM- she dau. of John & Hannah Ridgeway who I believe are desc.s of the Burlington CO NJ Ridgeways. I also have Richard Ridgeway who marr. Charity BEESON dau. of Edward 6.1.1761 Hopewell VA MM. John Ridgeway granted a cert. to Burlington, NJ 9.24.1759 , returned cert. 1.21.1760 Hopewell VA MM. Some of these Ridgeways are on the 1787 Berekely CO VA tax list. 2) James on will of father marr. Mary Chester dau. of Thomas Chester & Sarah CARTMILL she from New Castle CO DE sister of Martin. Thomas & Sarah Chester's dau. Susannah marr. William Herrell. This James I believe is the James mckay SR on the 1785 Shenandoah CO VA tax list. 3) Zachary -on will of father has wife Lydia -will says get plantation called Nathan's Calbreath's Bottom in Augusta CO VA . 4) Moses on will - internet says he married Mary White who I found as Mary JOB who marr. first John White 8.31.1717 Chester twp MM. son of William White dec.d of New Castle CO DE Mary Job is a dau. of Andrew Job. 5) Margaret marr. Joshua Job 11.1.1731 Nottingham, MM PA. ( son of Andrew ) this couple have sons ENOCH JOBE and Moses Jobe on the 1785 Shenandoah CO VA tax list more later- 6) Hannah McCoy marr. George Hollingsworth 19.2.1734 HOPEWELL VA MM recorded in the Nottingham, PA MMs and the marriage witnesses listed you all have . George Hollingsworth is the son of Abraham Hollingsworth & Ann Robinson and this Abraham Hollingsworth is listed in the Cecil CO MD deeds with Martin Cartmill who are from Brandywine Hundred, New Castle CO DE sons of Thomas Hollingsworth and Nathaniel Cartmill there 1696/97. 7) Leah on will marr. William Taylor - 8) Mary marr. George Robinson 2.14.1726 Nottingham PA MMs. George Robinson is the son of George Robinson & Catherine Hollingsworth listed 1696/97 Brandywine Hundred , New Castle CO DE tax list with Oliver Cope and the others. 9) Elizabeth marr. Abraham Job 8.7.1739 - Abraham Job has a 24.10.1750 Augusta CO VA will, and he first married Sarah Gatchell 9.24.1726 New Garden, PA MM. The witnesses for Robert McCoy's 1746 Augusta CO VA will are- Gabriel Jones, David Vance and Abraham HITE, inv. by Andrew Fowler , James Taylor and Alexander Crawford- note: trying to prove this Alexander Crawford was killed by Indians about 1764 in the area of Greenbrier CO VA . This family first generation BIO is on page 615 Gilbert Cope's book 1881. Andrew Job marr. Elizabeth Vernon 7.11.1692 and will is 30.3.1722 Nottingham, PA - Elizabeth his wife is on the 1722 East Nottingham , PA tax list by Gilbert Cope in 1881 bk. Iam adding to it on where I found some of them. 1) Benjamin born 8.13.1693 died 9.1.1693 2) Jacob b) 5.26.1694 marr. Rachel Brookesby 10.12.1720 New Garden MM PA.- he is on the 1772 tax list. 3) Thomas b) 9.22.1695 marr. Elzabeth Maxwell 8.28.1725 Nottingham MM. Clue- not sure but believe this family may be ancestors of Thomas Job 1778 Rowan CO NC tax list found with the just before going to KY ( 1779 ) Boone and related families there on that tax list. 4) Mary b) 1.23.1697/97 marr. John White in Nottingham but recorded in Chester MM. 5) Enoch died young b) 7.9.1698 6) Enoch b) 11.6.1700 marr. Abigail Gatchell dau. of Elisha 7) Abraham Job b) 6.22.1702 and my will 24.10.1750 Augusta CO VA marr. Sarah Gatchell 9.24.1724 New Garden marr. 2nd Elizabeth McCoy 8.7.1739 and she may have marr. 2nd a Thomas Bragg. The appraisment for his estate in Augusta CO VA was done by James MCCOY , Henry Netherton and Frederick Frailey - this name is everywhere including found with the Boone related families 1761 Rowan CO NC and a Frederick Frailey died in Russell CO VA 1792. Henry Netherton SR and JR with James McKay SR and JR are on the 1785 Shenandoah CO VA tax list of John Nertherton. 8) Caleb JOB b) 5.26.1704 marr. Barbary ? he has a 1750-1752 Augusta CO VA will Exr: Ephriam Leith, wit: Abraham Job and Moses MCKay/McCoy. 9) Joshua Job marr. Margaret McCoy 11.1.1731 Nottingham, PA Mm and she is a dau. of Robert & Ann McCoy. Note: Gilbert Cope shows in Bio that Robert and Margaret who marr. Job are McCoys. 10) Hannah - b) 8.24.1708 will 7.10.1748 Frederick CO VA & her estate goes to Robert & Patience Mackay/McCoy. 11) Patience Job b) 7.2.1710 marr. Robert McCoy 27 7.1735 and you have son Andrew McCoy above. do have more on some of these families. Note: watch out for the name of Patience and Charity because everyone I find in the 1700s are Quakers. On the Andrew Job will 30 Mar 1722-9.13.1722 Nottingham, PA has witnesses - John Beals SR and Jacob Beals related to Mary Beals who marr. Richard HARROLD of 1722 West Nottingham, PA parents of Jonathan Harrold who marr Catherine Hiatt. Now do you see what I have stumbled onto here and I guess it was dumb luck or ??? David
