David, you have posted ANOTHER name of interest to me! MAXWELL James McGlaughlin named his first son, by his first wife, Ann FRANCIS---MAXWELL. I have never been able to figure out if that was a family name either! It's interesting to know that both MAXWELL and BRINTON were Quaker names.
