Hello Group - I'm looking for information on the following couple: John LOWRY, m. Peggy MILLER Nov. 22, 1808 in Berkeley Co., VA (now WVA), suretor Wm. Miller. (source for this data was "Marriage Records of Berkeley County, VA for the Period of 1781 - 1854", compiled by Guy L. Keesecker, 1969) If anybody has any information on either of the above individuals or surnames (descendants and/or ancestors), I'd love to hear from you. I believe this couple may be the parents of one of my ancestors, a Mary Jane LOWRY, b. ca 1811, who married Isaac STANLEY (b. ca 1808) in Berkeley Co. in 1837.
