I am looking for anyone who can give me additional information on my William Wright. I don't know where he was born, nor do I know who his parents and siblings were. I do know he was given a land grant in 1754 in Frederick County, Virginia. He sold his land and settled in Berkeley County, Virginia when that county branched off from Frederick. He lived near the Potomac River in Shepherdstown until he moved to Bourbon County, Kentucky where he subsequently died between 1803-1806. I know my William's wife's name was Martha, but I know nothing else about her. It is "supposed" my William Wright was of the Scot/Irish Presbyterian persuasion, but that is not at all for sure. I am also looking for the early church records that would show names of members, etc., for the following churches: 1) Bullskin Presbyterian Church ca. 1736 to 1768 (old congregation) 2) Shepherdstown Presbyterian Church ca. beg. ? to 1768 (bef. Bullskin splitup) & 1768 to 1795 (aft. Bullskin splitup) 3) Elk Branch Presbyterian Church ca. 1768 to 1795 (new Congregation) Can anyone help me with my William Wright?
