I'm not sure why--whether it's membership in a particular meeting or lack of Quaker meetings on the Frontier--but I've seen other instances of families living in one spot and the marriage taking place in the other. For example, one of the daughters of Robert McKay (from N.J. to Md. to Va.) Md. has a marriage recorded in Nottingham Monthly Meeting, modern Pa., even though they were living on the Opeccan (whatever spelling at the time) Can anybody enlighten me. ==== OLD-FREDERICK-CO-VA Mailing List ==== List Problems?
