    2. For additional info, everybody surf quickly over to www.ancestry.com. They are currently running under their 30-day free database access (before you have to pay $4.95 a month to subscribe) FOUR databases that have a lot of info on the Bordens, et al. They are Scotch-Irish Settlers Volumes I, II and III and a bicentennial book on Hopewell Friends Meeting 1734-1934. I've found these sources to be tremendously informative, and you can search online by just entering your family surname or any other keyword. Our ancestor Robert Worthington also went from NJ to Frederick Co in about 1730. Jacob Worthington married Abigail Borden, the daughter of Benjamin Borden. We maintain a fairly large database on the descendants of Samuel Worthington (1745/6- 1821), Robert's grandson who was one of the first settlers of Anderson County, Tennessee.
