Hi all. I am researching my maternal line. My mother, Louise Virginia Gordon, was born in the Stephens City VA area. Her father was Edward Upton Gordon, her mother Hattie Ruth Cooley. While I have birth dates for several generations back, I find that I have no information on anyone other than direct line ancestors ... no cousins, etc. Can anyone give me any information on which way to start looking for this?
