Be careful about an ancestor being 105 years old.....you might have a father and son with the same name, or an uncle and a nephew. If you have found him in the 1850 Boone Co Kentucky census and the age checks.....then you are okay. I only caution you because I have seen people with an ancestor 120 years old......really a father and a son. I have one that was around 100 years old when he died, so some of those ole birds did live a long time. We were lucky to find him in 1840 census in the 90-100 age bracket and he died before the 1850 census, so he might have seen his 100th birthday. I have tried to check newspaper accounts for that time - thinking something would have been written about a man who reached his 100th birthday, but no luck yet. As I said, if you have checked the census and his age checks, then congrats on a 105 year old ancestor. Mary [email protected]
