Hello, Please excuse me for posting this here, but the 1850 census says these people were from "Del", and I cannot find these names in Delaware. :) Need father of George BRINKER, born 4 Jan 1786, in "Del", (according to 1850 Pickaway Co, OH census), but unable to find any trace of this name there. His mother was Catherine MILLER, born 1768, also in "Del", daughter of Frederic MILLER. Was it was Delaware Co, PA? (Not found in Delaware Co, OH, either). A possible father for George is a Hans Conrath BRINKER, from the line of immigrant Andreas. Hans had a son George who married a BITTIG ("my" George married Mary SHOPE/SWOPE), and the birthdate is a little off. If anyone has BRINKER's or MILLER's that might fit, please help!
