William Noland married a Joana____________ in what is now Berkeley Co. West Va. around 1755. He died in Berkeley Co. in 1804. We think his birth would have been ca. 1725. If he had been born in the same area in which he died...what would the county have been called during the 1720''s and would there have been any records still in existance during this early period. Would deeply appreciate any educated guesses and suggestions of how to find out information about this man. If I can jump one more generation back, I can probably tie him into one of several Noland/Nowland/Nolan groups that were in the Maryland, Va. area at the time. Thank you in advance.
