Hello Old Frederick Rooters, Is anyone out there working on the family of John and Judith (WOOD) BAKER? It appears they lived in Montogmery Co., MD prior to Rev. War and in that part of Old Frederick Co which became Berkeley Co, VA in 1772 and Jefferson Co in 1801. He died at Shephardstown, Berkeley Co in 1798. James HITE Alcluda Anna m Zachariah WATERS of Montogmery Co, MD Mary m William SCOTT (in one place said to have m General BOYER & in another Mr. ESKRIDGE) John (Jr.) m Anna MARKS of Jefferson Co, VA Does anyone know of a published genealogy of Gov.
