Carol: Suggest you go on to the 1860 census and see what it says because sometimes they would give where they used to live as birth place i.e. I am from Delaware and that is what the census taker put. A different time, and different census taker might yield different results. Then as a double check 1870 census. Then go backwards again. Carol
