RE: NEWMAN Is there any chance that George Newman may have lived in Fairfax county for a while? I have a Wm Bishop in Fairfax from about 1780s to early 1800s when he moved to Frederick co., then to ? In my notes there is a record of a court case of George Newman vs. Wm Bishop in Fairfax co. Wm's father is believed to be John Bishop, a French & Indian war veteran, who lived in Frederick co. for many years. Just wondering ..... Tom Bishop
