She is the daughter of a Thomas JONES. How can we determine if these are the same? Do you have any further information on the children of Thomas? I have Sarah m. Nellie BARTLOW and died in Clermont Co, OH; Mary "Polly" m. Andrew J. KEITHLER and died in Lee Co, IA; Cynthia Ann m. John HEDRICK and died in Brown Co, OH. I have no information on Eliza. My Thomas Jones was married to Susan BAUM, the mother of these children, and then to Mary E. CONSTANT, no issue known. Thomas JONES was born 6 Sep 1784 in Fayette Co, PA. My notes say he was in the War of 1812. The JONES families travelled from PA into KY and within a generation, were scattered as above. Let me know if anything here might connect our families! Glenn Stahl >> I'm not familiar w/ the book but here's how I find old books: Review Library of Congress list at your local library. Any copyrighted book s/b listed. Ask you local librarian to try to locate through inter-library loan. It helps if you can give them the call # which will be in Lib Congress list. I also use Lib Congress books to locate genealogies on surnames I'm researching. I usually need to go to city library for the Lib Congress books. Small rural libraries may not have them. Try the Library Congress web site. Perhaps it's listed in the electronic card catalog. However, they do not loan books. Ruth
