    3. Hi Flo! Could you do a lookup for any CHAPMAN's in your "Pioneers" book? I don't imagine there were more than a few, haven't had much luck there! I am specifically looking for a Thomas CHAPMAN (I understand there were two in Frederick Co at the same time); Thomas' sons Valentine, Elias, and another Thomas, also, daughters Margaret who married a Haymaker and Elizabeth who married a Molineaux. Thank you so much for taking the time to help all of us so much. Is there any research in California I can do for you? Carrie M. Crotwell [email protected]

    1. Thanks to all who responded with info re location of Fredericksburg.
    2. I very much appreciate the information. I am just starting to gather information regarding the Lewis family of Fredericksburg. My gggggrandfather was Fielding Lewis and my gggrandfather was William H. Lewis. I do not know which of Fielding's sons was my ggggrandfather. The boys names were Augustin,Warner,George, Charles, Sam, Lawrence, Robert, and Howell. I suppose that there would be information of that kind in that house he owned in Fredericksburg that was called Kenmore after he no longer owned it. It is now some kind of a museum. The e-mail I recieved was really a breakthrough. Thanks again. Dave from Nebr
