Someone told me yesterday that since the second deed holds an amount in trust for Christopher Bancroft that he must be a minor. It did not appear that he was a minor in his father's will in 1625. As a matter of fact, a Chrstopher Bancroft witnessed the will - but maybe a different Christopher? According to the first deed - it appears that Ralphe Bancroft had recently died though I have not found a copy of his will in the Derbyshire records.
