    3. It came from a film for the parish register of Burgh, Suffolk. And Thomas could have been from outside the county, especially as I've yet to find other Netherwoods in Suffolk.     3. Judith, I've looked at the first word again and feel it could be "Sohame" as in Soham, Cambridgeshire. There is also as Soham Cotes listed as a place. I don't know if this is a possibility?
