Alert! Alert! I just looked out my window and what to my wondering eyes should I see, BUT, a stout little man dressed in red, AND, you'll NEVER guess----he was going over the house top in a SLEIGH pulled by REINDEER. He was going very fast and he waved and shouted Ho! Ho! Ho! as he went by. THEN, I saw the sleigh stop on the roof of the house next door and he got out of the sleigh and disappeared down the CHIMNEY! Soon he came back UP the chimney, got in the sleigh and went to the next house. Last I saw of him he was headed northwest from southeastern Vermont, USA. NOW-NOW-NOW Ruth! - This is not at all possible because a fairly rotund gentleman wearing crimson robes has been having the most awfull problems with getting into the homes of flat dwellers here in England, so much so that many homes have not been visited and his reindeer were quite worn out. They arrived at my front door around 2am this cold morning, asking for sustenance, which I was able to provide as I had just finished using my nebulizer! - Santa led them around to our summer house at the rear of our home where there was some hay and water for them, and a titbit or two of biscuit.   Santa came in whilst his helpers recuperated and we both sat down in front of our warm fire and enjoyed some cookies and milk, although the milk was a little more tastier with the addition of some spirit, which Santa enjoyed very much. All to soon Santa and his team recovered and were once again on their way to complete their world-wide journey. Merry Christmas - Hic!
