Census. She is listed as adopted with a family named FORD. The wife's name was Elizabeth and the husbands was illegeable. Her father was Eugene Raymond COLE listed with a son Lenard in the same Census as boarders in town. I am going to try to find the adoption papers as well as a possible marriage for her. Eugene marriade and was divorced by the next Census as his ex was listed in Neb. as divorced. I do not know what happened to him.
