Nov. 3, 1954 in Dacoma, Ok. He married second wife Grace Daugherty Sweet and they had a daughter Caroline Maxiene Nelson and she married Ernest Wallie Lewis. Grace D. June 22, 1953 in Dacoma, Ok. and she was a Reverend and a traveling minister. Matthew was a tax accessor for a number of years for Oklahoma and also on the Ok. school board. His children attended the Alva Schools.
