Funeral services for Mrs. Knight will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the Sanctuary of the Dewey, First Church of God. The Rev. Tony Siebels will be the officiant. Committal prayers and interment will be directed in the Dewey Cemetery by The Arnold Moore-Dewey Funeral Home. Mrs. Knight will lie in state in the Arnold Moore-Dewey Funeral Home where friends may call for their visitation until she is removed for services and final rites on Wednesday afternoon. Faye Louise Goodman was born on July 22, 1922 in Bartlesville. She was the daughter of the late Cyrus Steve and Rada (Booker) Goodman. She was reared and received her education in the Bartlesville and Hominy, Okla. community schools and was graduated from the Hominy High School with the Senior Class of 1942. She was employed by Landers Brothers Grocery Store and Phillips Petroleum Co. prior to her marriage to Chester Warren Knight, Sr. They were united in marriage on March 29, 1945 in Dewey and they made their first home in Bartlesville prior to moving to Dewey in 1948. Mr. Knight was employed by the United States Postal Service for thirty years and was an associate of The Arnold Moore Funeral Service for thirty-two years prior to his retirement. Mr. and Mrs. Knight made their retirement residence in Dewey. Mr. Knight preceded her in death on March 15, 2002 in Dewey and since that time, Mrs. Knight has continued living in the Dewey community in retirement. Mrs. Knight was a member of the Dewey, First Church of God and the Women of The Church of God. Surviving are one son, Chester Warren Knight, Jr. and his wife Laura; one daughter, Kathe Louise (Knight) Johnson and her husband Bradley, all of Dewey, Okla.; one grandson, Lance Edward Knight and wife Angel; one great-grandchild, Mia MacKenzie Knight, all of Bartlesville; one brother, O. B. Harrell, Lexington, Okla. and two sisters, Ruth "Babe" Goodman and Mrs. John (Reba) Hicks, both of Dewey. She was preceded in death by her father; mother; husband, Chester Warren "Chet" Knight, Sr. and granddaughter, Reba Katy Brooke Johnson on November 17, 2002.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, May 3 at 3 p.m. in the Virgil Patterson Auditorium of the Bank of America building, 8th and Taylor, with arrangements by Schooler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Bartlesville, Okla. Mr. Curphey was born in Bartlesville on February 5, 1924, to George M. and Lillian Carlos Curphey. He graduated from Bartlesville College High School in 1942. Following Air Force pilot training, he served as a first lieutenant and B-26 pilot in the 599th Bomb Squadron, 397th Bomb Group in the European theater of operation during WWII, piloting many successful missions. He attended the University of Oklahoma, earning bachelor's degrees in business administration and journalism and a graduate degree from the OU Harris School of Advertising Art. He married Dorothy Jean Mills, also of Bartlesville, in 1950. In 1951, he moved to Amarillo and was employed as an account executive on the Shamrock Oil and Gas account at McCormick Advertising and Engraving Co. He became a vice president of the company three years later upon the death of the founding principal, James L. McCormick. In 1964, Mr. Curphey became president of the company, then became chairman in 1987 and chairman emeritus in 1990. During his career, he was president or chairman of the following groups: Harrington Regional Medical Center, Inc., Amarillo Club, BIOS (Business Involved in Our Schools), Amarillo Unitarian Fellowship (founding member) and Family Service/Travelers Aid Agency. He was a founding member of Olivia's Angels, the support organization for BSA Hospice. He also served as a board member of Downtown Kiwanis Club, United Way, Amarillo Country Club, and the High Planes Soaring Society. He was active with the University of Oklahoma Alumni Development Fund. He was founder of a tongue-in-cheek discussion group called the TWITS (The Western Intellectual Tradition.) His professional involvement included being president of the Southwestern Association of Advertising Agencies, president of the Amarillo Advertising Club and a member of Alpha Delta Sigma advertising fraternity. He received a national CLIO award for a television spot he developed for Shamrock Oil & Gas, along with dozens of Addy Awards at the local and regional levels. The Amarillo Advertising Federation honored him with the Silver Medal Award for lifetime achievement. Mr. Curphey married Genneil Ziegenhorn of Amarillo in 2001 at Lake Tahoe, Nev. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, and a brother, Richard Curphey. Survivors include his wife; son, Chris Curphey and wife, Sandra of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Cale and Cameron Curphey, both of Amarillo; and a brother, David Curphey of Waynesville, NC. The family suggests memorials be to Olivia's Angels, c/o BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105.

Interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home. Mr. Forrest was born July 22, 1932 at Fairfax, Oklahoma to William and Ada (Sparks) Forrest. He was raised and received his education in the Butler Creek, Oklahoma area graduating high school there in 1950. Mr. Forrest was married to Greta J. Yearout on May 31, 1950 at Bentonville, Arkansas. He attended the Oklahoma State University graduating in 1956 with a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture. He owned and operated the Ochelata Sports Arena for thirteen years and was a horse and cattle rancher in the Bartlesville area for many years. Sid is survived by one son Rasy Forrest and his wife Annie of Meeker, Oklahoma; two brothers Jack Forrest of Grove, Oklahoma and William Forrest of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister Wanda Dominguez of Grove, Oklahoma; three grandchildren Ashley , RayLynn and Sidney Forrest all of Meeker, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Greta Forrest and a daughter Debby Foreman.

A native of Kansas, Alaine Louise Lucas was born on February 1, 1924 at Pittsburg. She was the daughter of the late George Washington and Vera (Crane) Lucas. Alaine was reared and received her education in the Pittsburg, Kansas Public Schools and was graduated with the Senior Class of 1942 from the Pittsburg, Kansas High School. She was united in marriage on July 25, 1942 to Mr. Robert Leroy Lehmer at Pittsburg, Kansas and they made their home there. Mr. Lehmer was in the military during World War II. Following his discharge from his military connection, the Lehmers continued their residence in Pittsburg. Mr. Lehmer was a structural engineer and in 1947 they moved to Tulsa, Okla. where Mr. Lehmer was employed as a structural engineer and eventually started his own Lehmer Manufacturing Company in Tulsa. Mr. Lehmer preceded her in death in 1984 in Tulsa. Alaine was an employee of Dillard's Department Store until her retirement in 1988. She and Mr. Eugene "Gene" Fitch were marr! ied at Las Vegas, Nevada on September 13, 1989 and they made their home in the Matoaka Community south of Bartlesville living in retirement. Mrs. Fitch was a member of the Spotlight Theater in Tulsa for many years. At one time her entire family was in the cast of "The Drunkard" production. She was a past member of the Will Rogers United Methodist Church of Tulsa, B. P. O. E., Tulsa, Okla. and the Eagles Lodge of Bartlesville. Surviving are her husband, Eugene "Gene" Fitch, of the Bartlesville home; a son, Steve Lehmer, Texarkana, Texas; two daughters, Ms. Karron S. Chipman, Austin, Texas and Mrs. Kirk (Jan) Jewell, Edmond, Okla.; a brother, John and his wife, Robbie Lucas, Derby, Kansas; six grandchildren, Chris Chipman, John Chipman, Tony Lehmer, Elaine Martindale and her husband, Gregg, Ryan Jewell and Shane Jewell; and a great granddaughter, Allison E. Martindale. Preceding her in death were her father; mother; and a brother, George Lucas.

A native of Scotland, Jeanie Lindsay Clarke was born September 10, 1928 in Glasgow. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Jeanie (Dunn) Clarke. Jeanie was reared and received her education in Glasgow, Scotland. In 1939 when World War II began, she and her brother were sent to the rural area in the north for safety. After a few months they returned to their home. She attended a two year college in Scotland following her completion of high school and since the age of 14 had worked as a secretary in Scotland. On February 14, 1948, the family sailed for America. They made their home at New Britain, Conn. She was employed at Hugh Graham and Assoc. Advertising. She and Robert A. Hand were married in June of 1956. They later had residences in Newington and Simsbury, Conn. Following her divorce she worked as an executive secretary, including Hamilton Standard, Connecticut Children's Medical Center, Fox Press. In 1992 she moved to Florida where she lived in retirement and was ! a substitute teacher. She came to Bartlesville on November 24, 2002 to live near her son, Peter, and his family. Throughout her life she maintained her membership in the Methodist Church and was a member of the East Cross Methodist Church. She was active in several charitable organizations, including Meals on Wheels, Literacy Volunteers, Civitan and The Retinoblastoma Foundation. An avid golfer, she enjoyed watching the sport as well as tennis matches and also enjoyed playing Bridge. Surviving are five children, Susan Hand, Cordova, Tenn., Christine Hand-Parliman, and husband, Bradley, Coventry, Conn., Robert A. Hand, Jr., and wife, Sandy, Palm Springs, Florida, Peter Hand, and wife, Roben Bartlesville, Okla. and David Hand, Hartford, Conn.; a brother, James Clarke, and wife, Marsha, Crystal River, Florida; her grandchildren, Jeff LaPierre, Rebecca Hand, Lindsay Hand, Wesley Hand and Cameron Hand, Laura Punt, Bradley Parliman, III, Elizabeth Dublac and Ian Boggs; three great grandchildren and a devoted friend, Austin Johnson, Inverness, Florida. She was preceded in death by her father and mother.

Mr. Cleveland was born on August 10, 1935 in Dewey Oklahoma to Benjamin Howard and Jennie Mae (Buttman) Cleveland. He and Pat Stringer were united in marriage on August 14, 1954 in Bartlesville. Mr. Cleveland was associated with the Verdigres Valley Electric Company as a line foreman retiring in 1999 after 35 years. After retirement he and Pat owned and operated the Linger Longer Antique Shop in Dewey. He was active in farming and had a love for computers and was also a poet. Mr. Cleveland is survived by his wife Pat of the home, two sons; Wesley and Debbie Craig Cleveland of Pierce, Colorado, David Warren and Melissa Cleveland of Bartlesville, two daughters; Carol Annette Cleveland Dowell of Bartlesville and Patricia Lynnette and Daniel Gunter of Dewey, 18 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, his mother Jennie of Dewey, one brother Dale and Saundra Cleveland of Bartlesville, one sister; Lenora and Jim LeBlanc of Tulsa, one sister-in-law; Irene Cleveland of Arkansas City, Kansas, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Ben Cleveland of rural Dewey.

A native of Canadian County Oklahoma, Betty D. Merveldt was born April 18, 1929 in El Reno. She was the daughter of the late Ferd and Nell Margaret (Smith) Merveldt. She was reared and completed her education in El Reno and graduated with the Senior Class of 1946 from the El Reno High School. She continued her education at William Woods College, Fulton, Missouri and later at Oklahoma A.&M. College, Stillwater where she graduated in l950. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She and Donald Lloyd Smith were united in marriage on September 2, 1950 at Okarche, Oklahoma in Holy Trinity Catholic Church. They made their home in Tulsa where Mr. Smith was employed with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. His job took the family to various communities including Nowata, Oklahoma City, Muskogee and to Bartlesville in December of l954 for two years. They later had residences in Houston, Texas, Washington D.C., Kansas City, Missouri and St. Louis, Missouri. Following their retiremen! t in l982 at St. Louis, they returned to Bartlesville to make their home. Mrs. Smith was a devoted wife and mother, active in St. John Catholic Church. She was active as a volunteer for Bartlesville Community Center for 18 years and was an active member of the Pi Beta Phi Alumni. Surviving are her husband, Donald L. "Don" Smith, of the home; three sons, Donald Michael Smith and wife, Susan, Austin, Texas, James Gary Smith and wife, Mary and Mark Lloyd Smith and wife, Rozann of Plano, Texas; seven grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Doris Kastner, Bartlesville. She was preceded in death by her father and mother.

A memorial has been established and those who wish to make a contribution in memory of Mrs. Baker may do so to the Jane Phillips Hospice 219 N. Virginia Avenue Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74003. Mrs. Baker was born October 3, 1927 at Blackwell, Oklahoma to Clarence and Goldie (Trotter) Craig. She moved to Copan, Oklahoma at the age of three with her parents, two half-sisters Faye Thompson and Dorothy Putnam and a half-brother Daniel Trotter. Mrs. Baker attended Copan Public School and Lincoln High in Los Angeles. Through the years she held various jobs including elevator operator for Phillips Petroleum Company and Hunt Medical Arts Buildings in Tulsa. She also worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone, A C.N.A. for Jane Phillips Hospital and a private duty caregiver before retiring at the age of 72. Mrs. Baker was a member of the Copan First Baptist Church for forty-nine years. Mrs. Baker is survived by three sons Tommy Joe Morris of Vinita, Oklahoma, Stanley Dean Morris of Fortville, Indiana and Raycee Lindley Baker of Caney, Kansas; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother, her son Richard Beams, Sr., her husband Clyde D. Baker and her grandson Zachary Morris.

Mrs. Tuttle was born on October 14, 1916 northeast of Dewey, Oklahoma. Her parents were William H. Cummins Sr. and Mattie Elizabeth (Fox) Cummins. She received her education at Limestone and Highland Park schools. She was married to Chris C. Tuttle on October 6, 1936 at West Siloam Springs, Arkansas. They made their home in the Westville, Ok. Area until moving to California in the mid 1940's, and then returned to the Washington County area in 1951 to make their home. She was preceded in death by her husband on August 6, 1973. Mrs. Tuttle is survived by four daughters, Bonnie Bates and her husband, Vernon of Bartlesville, Bertha Olson and her husband, Bill of Ochelata, Delora Snook and her husband, James of Copan, and Ruby Ellis and her husband, Chuck of Dewey, two sons, Frank and John Tuttle of Copan, one sister, Ruby Werts of Bartlesville, four brothers, Elvin, Alvin, Lester, and William H. Cummins Jr., all of Dewey, 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris, 3 sons, Jerry, Earl, and Adam, and by one grandson, Billy Olson Jr., one sister, Louise Harkrider, and 5 brothers, Chester, Ray, Frank, Wilford, and Donald.

Father William "Bill" Skeehan will be the officiant. A native of Pennsylvania, Eileen Patricia O'Flaherty was born in Franklin on October 12, 1910. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Rachel (McMillan) O'Flaherty. "Pat" was reared and received her education in the Oil City, Pennsylvania community and was graduated in 1928 from the Oil City High School. She attended the Seton Hill College from 1928 to 1932 and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in language and education. She was employed by the Chic Shop in Oil City until her marriage to Martin J. Reidy, also of Oil City, at Notre Dame University on September 17, 1935. She and Martin moved to Tulsa following their marriage where Martin was an employee of the Sinclair Refining Company. Eileen was a homemaker until the mid 1960's when she taught elementary school for a 15 year period which included St. Pius in Tulsa and schools in Birmingham, Michigan. Martin preceded her in death in 1969. She moved to Bartlesville in 1977 where her oldest daughter, Mary, had a medical lab! . Pat was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in Bartlesville. Surviving are eight children, Dr. James Reidy and Dorothy, Oxford, Mississippi, Martin and Helen Reidy, Joseph Reidy, and Michael Reidy all of Tulsa, Okla., Frank and Louise Reidy, Patrick Reidy, all of Bartlesville, Okla.; Elizabeth "Liz" and Warren Roberts, Muskogee, Okla. and Patricia Reidy, Laurel, Maryland; 16 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her father; mother; husband; two daughters, Mary Ann Reidy and Martha Ann Reidy; an infant sister, Ruth O'Flaherty; and a brother, Donald O'Flaherty.
