I have also interviewed the living family members. The Denver Library holds his papers but I ended up going there, as they are not too cooperative about researching, If you use the Oklahoman for a source be aware that there are inaccuracies in the paper about Will. Anyway, If I can be of help let me know. He was born Will D. Parker on January 3, 1899 per his birth certificate. They moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado. The two of them were good friends, altho my grandmother was older than Mrs. Allen. Susie's daughter, Miss Ida Grace Allen, followed in her mother's footsteps and was a lifelong teacher in the Dewey Public Schools. Many students brag today about having Miss Allen as their teacher. My Senior Class dedicated our yearbook to her. Susie taught my aunts and uncles and Ida Grace taught my cousins, brothers and myself. They still live on in the hearts of all of their students. His mother's maiden name was Anna Genevieve Black. Siblings were Rosemary, Cecelia Genevieve, Robert Francis, William James, Paul Daniel, Thomas Claude and Anthony Eugene. Two cousins rememeber his getting into some trouble while a teenager, and leaving home rather than face his father. However, the 1930 census lists him as 22 and living at home. Have been unsuccessful in finding any infromation about him except his birth date. If he was living in Bartlesville in 1930, it is possible he married there, or the surrounding community. All family members contacted so far indicate he disappeared and no one has heard from him. Would appreciate any information regarding him and his famly.

Index of marriage records 1907-1920 states this Kightlinger, Elmer 20 and Eastburn, Rachel 22 married 9 July 1916 book 5 page 33 There was no White married to a Kightlinger. I tried to look at different spellings. A lot of folks from here were married either in Osage county, Okla or across the state line in Kansas. There is a Muriel Hightlinger but they married W.F. Cross. Maybe someone will have time to look in the divorce records at the court house for you. That might come up with a name to go with the White. Raymonda

I have some info on a Hattie Craft married to Charles B. Craft. They were in the 1894 Census of Montcalm co. (apparently a special census taken). Charles is related to me through his brother Edgar Eugene Craft, father to my grandmother. Charles had a son Fred B. according to the census. Hattie died and Charles remarries to a Alvina Bushholz and had four more children. A family member that I talked to said that Charles and Hattie had two children. One is buried with them. Do you think your Hattie and mine are the same?
