Have you checked with the Bartlesville Public Library's Family and History Room? They have an index card catalog that lists almost all obituaries in the Bartlesville area. These cards cross reference to films of newspapers the library has. They will search free for one hour and will send you anything they find at the cost of the copies and mailing. Their number is 918-337-5353. If you don't get assistance from them, please email me directly at wacookcemeteries@swbell.net. Here is the direct link to their website. http://www.bartlesville.lib.ok.us/local/lfh.htm Richard Moberly -----Original Message----- From: okwashin-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:okwashin-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of gc-gateway@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, December 24, 2006 11:50 AM To: OKWASHIN-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [OKWASHIN] Seeking Obituary for Erma Soper, September 5, 2006 This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.netscape.com/mbexec/msg/rw/FZB.2ACE/824.1 Message Board Post: Mike, I have been researching Soloman Moomey who married Lucinda Hager on 25 Jun 1865 in Shelby County, Illinois. Soloman was a veteran of the Civil War and the family moved from Illinois to Kansas and then to Indian Territory. In 1870 they were in Eureka, Greenwood County, Kansas. In 1880 the family was in Harvey, Cowley County, Kansas. I am not sure if "my" Lucinda died before this and he married a Lucy, but her age and place of birth differ from the 1870 Census, which could be just a series of errors. You already have the information about Soloman's marriage to Zerelda Green (nee Talley per a family tree at www.ancestry.com). I would be interested in hearing from you and sharing information. Jeanne
