Bob Burke has written more historical non-fiction books (59) than anyone else in history. Burke has written has written on such diverse topics as baseball, aviation, art and religion in Oklahoma. His biography of Wiley Post and a book on the history of baseball in Oklahoma have won the Oklahoma Book Award. In 2005, his book about traveling Oklahoma timber towns was named book of the year by the Oklahoma Museum Association. Burke has served on the governing boards of the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence, the Jim Thorpe Association, the Oklahoma Heritage Association, the Oklahoma Arts Council, Red Earth, the Wiley Post Commission, and on the executive committee of the President’s Council of Oklahoma City University and the presidential professor committee at the University of Oklahoma. In 2004, he received the Governor’s Art Award for Excellence in the Arts in Oklahoma. George G. Morgan is the author of the book, The Genealogy Forum on American Online: The Official User’s Guide. His most recent book is How to Do Everything with Your Genealogy. He is the author of the popular weekly genealogical column, “Along Those Lines…”.
