Her father was born in Indiana and her mother was born in Virginia per 1900 census. She married Charles Henry FIELDS 3 Mar 1899 in Highlandville, Christian co, MO; they lived in Webb City, MO & had 6 children. When Doshia died in Denver, CO at age 76 in 1949, her brother, James BROTHERS was living in Tulsa, OK. I'd like info on her BROTHERS or FIELDS family Obituary: Joplin (Missouri) Globe newspaper, Sunday 2 Oct 1949: "Rites for Mrs. Fields, to be held tomorrow. Webb City, MO. Oct.1st. funeral services for Mrs. Doshia FIELDS 76 a former resident of Webb City who died Thursday night at her home in Denver, Colorado will be held at four oclock Monday afternoon in Hedge-Lewis funeral chapel here. The body will arive at 1:03 Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Fields is survived by two sons, John FIELDS of Carterville, MO and Roy FIELDS of Denver, CO; three daughters, Mrs. Marie PETERSON, Mrs. Henrietta FARRONS, and Mrs. Juanita ALLEN all of Denver, a brother James BROTHERS of Tulsa, OK; 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
