(At least that's as far as I've found. Perhaps earlier?) This link will take you to ONE of TWO Oklahoma court websites. This site has over fifty (count 'em!) counties available--among Oklahoma's 77 total number of counties. http://www.odcr.com/ HOW TO LOCATE A MARRIAGE LICENSE IN OTTAWA COUNTY: 1. Read "Search Hints" on the upper right hand side. Or, 2. First, "Select County to search" by narrowing the drop-down menu to OTTAWA COUNTY. 3. Type in a surname. If you want to add a first name, SEPARATE the two names by a comma after the surname. Example: hopper, clifford 4. Unless you want to get ALL case information for that name, narrow your search to JUST marriage licenses by clicking on the FIRST drop-down menu after "Case Number to search for" and patiently scrolling through all the many many acronyms until you get to "ML" (marriage license). 5. Click on the rectangular button "Search for Cases." 6. Be patient. Assuming a name/case pops up, click on the BLUE case number link to open up the particular case. If it is a marriage license, the clerk will very often note the name of the town that the "party" then lived. See something you like? Write the clerk for a copy of the license. 7. This link leads to the OTHER Oklahoma court database. Once again, read the "HELP" section to learn to navigate: http://www.oscn.net/applications/oscn/casesearch.asp
