Hello: My name is Ruth Klein. I am trying to trace my great-grandfather, Abner H. Twiss. I have a letter from him to my grandmother dated July 3, 1895. He is writing to her and telling her about living in the Tulsa area. He tells her about the different crops there are; peaches, corn, and how warm it is. He works for a Mr. Evans. He tells about the cattle that are ready to send to Kansas City and Chicago. Also he tells about how wild and wicked it is and about the killing of Wild Bruce Miller and Tulsa Jack. He tells about killing wild turkeys and deer squirrels. What I am looking for is is there any record or him living or dying there. I know this very little to go on, but I am hoping. Thank you for any information that you might provide.
