I am trying to see if those records are available online. I am looking for a Calvin Ramage, born someplace in the midwest in April 1852 -- surviving records say both Ohio and Illinois, so I am guessing he lived both places. The last place I can put him for sure is living in a boarding house in Oklahoma City in 1900 for the 1900 census. I know for sure he was alive Easter 1908 when he sent postcards to several family members. I haven't been able to find him on the 1910 census at all, and his children, whom he placed in an orphanage when their mother died in 1898, had heard that he died in the "Tulsa County Poorhouse and was buried in a pauper's grave by the county in 1924 or thereabouts."
