I was raised in Turley and lived in Tulsa County until the late 1970s. However, I have gone through the descriptions of the areas covered by the five rolls of film for the 1930 Census with a fine tooth comb and cannot determine which one will cover the Turley area. My parents lived almost in the "downtown" area of Turley. We lived about five blocks west of Peoria all of my childhood and my parents lived in the same house until 1962, when my father died. I walked to Cherokee to go to school and we lived close enough that, most days, I even walked home for lunch. The area in which we lived was in the area that is covered by the parameters for which you suggested I search. However, even knowing that, I was and am unable to determine which roll of film (on CD) I should buy. So many of the EDs were determined by where the railroad tracks and other landmarks were located, that I have been unable to find on the small map of the city that I still have in my possession. I guess I will just wait until July when I intend to go to Western OK for a family reunion. I can stop in at one of the Visitor's Centers when I get to the OK State Line and get a better map of Tulsa and surrounding areas. Then I can lay out the different EDs and see if I can then figure out which roll of film (on CD) to buy. Thank you again for your attempt to help me. Maryann Dixon Moseby
