I have been looking at the page that helps you find which of the 1930 rolls of film to buy to get the Census for your family. It is located at: NARA 1930 Census Microfilm Locator - Begin Search Page http://www2.heritagequest.com/1930census/beginsearch.asp My problem is that I have looked at the detail for the state of OK and the County of Tulsa. I have not been able to determine which of the rolls will contain the Census for the small community of Turley. I have looked at the descriptions and the boundary areas for each ED and still can't find it. I know that Turley wasn't incorporated, but it was in Tulsa County and was well known as a separate community. Since I haven't lived in Tulsa County for a number of years, I simply can't make the determination. Can someone else help me with this problem? Maryann Dixon Moseby Mailto: [email protected]
You probably will not find Turley listed as Turley anymore. Since you have access to the ED see if you can find the area that includes 56th St North and Peoria thru 86th Streeet North and Peoria. That's the area of North Tulsa you'll find Turley listed in.
