I found this Obit in a bag of old pictures, at this point in time I don't know if this family has any connection to my DENTON family from Sand Springs, OK or not. Hopefully it will be able to help someone find their lost RUSSELL's. I don't know what paper it's out of, nor the year. Does anyone have any knowledge of this family or of Grover C. & Pet (Etta) Parker Denton? Karen MOTHER AND BABY DIE AT HOSPITAL Sand Springs, April 20,--Mrs Laura Agnes RUSSELL, 20 years old, and her infant baby died in a Tulsa hospital Thursday morning shortly after the baby was born. The mother had resided here nine years. Funeral services for both mother and baby will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon from the chapel of the R.L. Mobley Funeral Home, with the Rev. O. L. SIDWELLL officiating. Interment will be in Woodland cemetery. Surviving are the widower, Marion A. RUSSELL: her mother and stepfather, Mr. Mrs. Joe SHRUM, and her father, J.. . MILLS, all of Sand Springs; three brothers, Clifford MILLS of Dallas, Texas, Wayne MILLS of Russell, Ark. and Boyce MILLS of Sand Springs, and one sister, Miss Bonnie MILLS of Sand Springs.
