They were from Carroll county, Tennessee, and one source says they are buried somewhere there in the Tulsa area. In 1921 Frank was living in Drumright in according to his fathers obit. I know from other family obits that in 1950 he was living in Tulsa, but must have died sometime before 1955. Two days ago we found a brothers obit dated 1955, and Frank is not mentioned as a survivor, but the other brothers are. They had no children together, but she may have had a child there by a former marriage. I have additional information if needed. If you have any city directories, cemetery, of other books that could help me find a grave or a date, the help would be appreciated.

Hello All, When my great grandparents came to Australia from Scotland in the 1870's they left a large family behind. All these members of the family moved on not long after to the USA. Some correspondence was kept up & I have been trying to trace the descendants of those who went to the USA. Several of the family members settled in Oklahoma, one of these Patrick J Harley settled in Lehigh, Oklahoma where he raised a large family. One son John Thomas Harley was born 1888 in Lehigh. John went to school at the Sacred Heart Convent in Oklahoma City where his aunt Sister Mary Camillas Harley was a teacher. John became an attorney & later was a judge & he lived & practiced law in Tulsa. The 1930 census tells me he married a lady named Mary & had a son also named John. Wonder how I can find out more about him, when he died, where buried, if he had more children. Couldn't find him on the SSDI. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated from someone who has more of a "local" knowledge than I have. I do have an address though I don't know the time period (probably 1930's or 40's) of 2140 E 18 St, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Don't know if this is a business or housing area. In the tusla, OK census she is living with her sister Leslie Idelle Harlan that married J. Williams. She is listed as divorced. They spelled her name Ruth Harland but not sure if she married a Harland or if they mispelled it. So I am trying to find if she really was married or the divorced was a mistake in the census. Ruth later married Earl Hardway. The Harlans were living in Rogers, AR in 1920 as this is where her parents are buried, but her sister Leslie moved to OK when she got married. Ruth's marriage could have taken place in Benton County, AR or Tulsa, OK.
